Sparkie EV is the trading name of Jack Louis Noonan, a sole trader, ABN 19 161 044 823. For privacy questions or requests, email sparkieevchargers@gmail.com.
1. What we collect
- When you order: your name, email, phone number, billing and delivery address, and the items you bought. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout page and go straight to Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.
- When you contact us or make a warranty claim: your messages, order number, photos or videos you send, and details about your vehicle or socket if you give them.
2. How we use it
We use your information to process and deliver orders, send receipts and tracking, handle returns, faults and warranty claims, contact you about product recalls or safety notices, meet our tax and legal obligations, and prevent fraud. We will only send you marketing if you opt in, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
4. Overseas storage
Some of our service providers, including Stripe and our website host, may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We use providers that protect personal information to standards comparable to the Australian Privacy Principles.
5. Cart and browser storage
Our website remembers your cart in your own browser's local storage so it survives a page refresh. It stays on your device and is cleared after checkout. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes we will update this policy first.
6. Security and retention
We protect your information with access controls and encrypted connections. We keep order records for as long as tax law requires (generally 5 years) and keep enough to contact you about a recall for the life of the product, then delete or de-identify them.
7. Access, correction and complaints
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing sparkieevchargers@gmail.com. We will reply within 30 days. If you have a privacy complaint, contact us first. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
